As well as covering EJB 3.0 in depth, this book is also a good introduction for Java programmers developing server side programming. I use this book as a reference for the project that I'm currently working on.

Spring In Action
This is an excellent book for anyone wanting to jump into Spring. It provides an excellent introduction, sample application, as well as the core Spring features and what made it a very popular framework today. This book covers the new Spring 2.0 features. I loved this book! 4 out of 5!
